Zelensky’s acknowledgment of the death of 31,000 Ukrainian soldiers

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy told his Western allies on Sunday that Ukraine’s victory over Russia depends on them, but he expressed confidence that the US Congress will finally approve a long-awaited aid package.
According to al-Quds al-Arabi, in a rare official statement of his kind, Zelensky announced that 31,000 Ukrainian soldiers were killed in the war with Russia.
At a press conference in Kiev, he said to his Western partners: “Whether Ukraine will fail, whether the situation will be very difficult and whether the number of victims will be large, all this depends on you, our partners and the Western world.”
He added that he is sure that (the vote of the US Congress) will be positive. Otherwise, he doesn’t understand the world he lives in.
Zelensky claimed: “31,000 Ukrainian soldiers were killed in this war.” Not 300,000, 15,000 or any other number that Putin and the lying figures close to him are talking about. But each of these numbers is a big loss for us.”
Both sides are believed to be understating the number of their forces killed.
