According to the regional office Tasnim news agency, Ministry of Foreign Affairs Qatar quoted Mohammad bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al-Khalifi, the country’s deputy foreign minister, as saying that Qatar will try to solve conflicts through constructive dialogue and peaceful methods in the region and the world.
This ministry stated in a statement that with the mediation of Qatar, the Taliban government has released an Austrian citizen from prison.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar did not comment on the identity of the Austrian citizen who entered Doha.
