Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan, emphasizing his country’s opposition to double standards in dealing with the war in Gaza, called for an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.
The Saudi Foreign Minister, regarding the current developments in the Gaza Strip, also called the international community to accept its responsibilities and fulfill its duties.
According to “Al-Arabiya”, Faisal Be Farhan said during a speech at the 55th meeting of the United Nations Human Rights Council, that the residents of Gaza are exposed to the most horrific human rights violations.
Ben Farhan also warned about the disastrous consequences of any attack by the Zionist regime on the city of Rafah in the south of the Gaza Strip.
He emphasized the importance of appropriate mechanisms for the Human Rights Council to achieve its goals.
Ben Farhan also pointed to the suspension of financial aid by some countries to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA) and emphasized that attacking this organization and not supporting it will harm the Palestinian nation.
