French President Emmanuel Macron announced the formation of a new coalition to supply medium and long-range missiles and bombs to Ukraine.

According to the report of Elium VII, the French President explained that several European countries will provide the Ukrainian army with medium and long-range missiles and bombs. There is a consensus to take new initiatives in the field of cyber defense, joint production of weapons, military capabilities and ammunition in Ukraine and defense of countries threatened by Russian military operations in Ukraine, especially Moldova.

He said: This shows that today more than yesterday there is the will of all of us to support Ukraine and allow Kiev to conduct negotiations in the best possible way for peace and to create our collective security.

Pointing out that sending ground forces in the future is something that cannot be ruled out, Macron said: There is no consensus on sending troops to Ukraine, but nothing can be ruled out.

Early Monday at the Elysee Palace, the French president opened an international conference in support of Ukraine that brought together the leaders and ministers of some 21 countries with the aim of providing more financial and military support to Kyiv. The statement of the French presidency said that as the Russian-Ukrainian war entered its third year, European leaders and ministers were invited to participate in this conference to examine the available ways to strengthen the cooperation of partners to support Ukraine.

Ukraine has been under intense pressure for several months, especially after Russian forces took control of the city of Avdiyoka on Ukraine’s eastern front; Also, Ukraine is suffering from a lack of ammunition and an obstacle to providing military aid from the West, which it desperately needs.
