Russia called the US attacks on Iraq and Yemen a threat to international peace and security

Vasily Nebenzia, Russia’s permanent representative to the UN Security Council, said on February 27 that the continuous US attacks on Iraq and Yemen threaten international security and are a danger to peace.

This diplomat, whose speech was published by the Telegram channel of the Russian Permanent Mission to the United Nations, said: The recent continuous attacks by the United States on targets in Iraq and Yemen are a direct threat to international peace and security.

Nebenzia said: Although the US authorities are trying to justify the attacks on these countries, in fact their decisions undermine the global order and the foundations of international law under the protection of the United Nations.

American forces have recently carried out attacks on the positions of the Iraqi resistance forces. America has also launched attacks on Yemeni positions by claiming to establish navigation and shipping security in the Red Sea.
