All Ukrainian commanders involved in the downing of Ilyushin-76 are identified

The Russian Investigative Committee is identifying all the Ukrainian commanders who ordered the downing of the plane carrying the prisoners of this country.

reported by Mehr News Agency quoted by Tass, Alexander Bastrykin, head of the Russian Investigative Committee, announced that the process of identifying all the Ukrainian commanders who ordered the downing of the Ilyushin-76 plane is underway.

Bastrykin said: Inspectors and experts previously identified the type of weapons used for the terrorist attack on this plane. This plane was shot down by MIM-104A anti-aircraft guided missiles fired from the American-made “Patriot” surface-to-air defense system.

Remembering that these missiles were launched from the village of “Liptsi” in the Kharkiv region of Ukraine, he added: “Several pieces of the remains of the victims’ bodies were found in the crash area.” The results of the DNA test showed with certainty and without ambiguity that the remains found belong to the plane crew, military officers and flight security agents and 65 Ukrainian prisoners, all of whom were killed in the crash.

Ukraine’s armed forces shot down an Ilyushin-76 plane over Russia’s Belgorod region on January 24. This plane was carrying 65 Ukrainian prisoners of war who were on the way to a designated point for a prisoner exchange plan. The Ministry of Defense of Russia described this incident as a terrorist attack and emphasized that Kiev was on board this flight and deliberately crashed it to accuse Moscow of killing Ukrainian prisoners.
