Hamdullah Mohib, National Security Adviser of the Ghani government, in a conversation with Waliullah Malekzai, an Afghan writer and analyst, stated that he does not support the opposition group of the current ruling body in Afghanistan, known as the Resistance Front, because its money and command are in the hands of foreigners.

Mohab clarified: I do not support any resistance whose weapons, command and plan are in the hands of foreigners. Of course, if we have our own facilities, the case will be different.

He further stated: After the fall of the republican system, Western countries are willing to accept Ashraf. They did not get Ghani, and even the government of Delhi, which had a good relationship with Kabul, was not ready to accept him. The UAE, instead of India or Western countries, said: India’s official policy is that whoever has power in Kabul has a relationship with the same party, and we were no longer in power; Norway and Switzerland, which are considered neutral countries, did not allow the president. So he went to the UAE and sought refuge with them.
