Deputy Secretary General of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement said: There is a possibility of reaching an agreement on the Gaza Strip before the arrival of the holy month of Ramadan, but the Zionist regime is showing its stubbornness.

Mohammed El-Handi added: The resistance showed its flexibility regarding the step-by-step agreement instead of the comprehensive agreement, but the Zionist regime is procrastinating and wasting time.

He added: The occupying regime has resorted to deception to avoid an agreement with the Palestinian resistance and is using the policy of starving the citizens of the Gaza Strip and chaos to dominate this region.

Alhandi said: The main issue for us is not the arrival of humanitarian aid, but we want to put pressure on Israel in order to stop the war and lift the blockade.

He clarified: The release of Israeli prisoners is the main demand of the Zionist regime, America and some regimes in the region.

The Reuters news agency wrote on Tuesday, quoting informed sources: Hamas movement has received the draft of Israel’s proposal for the ceasefire talks that are to be held in Paris.

This media added that according to this draft, all military operations will be stopped for 40 days and for every Zionist prisoner in Gaza, 10 Palestinian prisoners will be exchanged.

These sources said that according to the proposed ceasefire plan, hospitals and bakeries in Gaza will be repaired and 500 trucks carrying humanitarian aid will enter the Gaza Strip every day.

Earlier, the media reported that the Israeli regime agreed to several “clauses” in the Paris meeting, which are part of the framework of the cease-fire agreement in Gaza and the release of prisoners, including the release of 400 prisoners and the gradual return of Palestinian refugees to northern Gaza.

Earlier, “Osame Hamdan”, a member of the political bureau of the Hamas movement, emphasized in an interview with the “Al Arabi” channel that the Israeli regime refused to agree to the draft presented by the United States.

This Hamas official continued that the American draft agreement and the number of prisoners to be exchanged is a trick of the occupying regime, and the Paris draft is an American proposal, and its purpose is to preserve its reputation and buy time for Tel Aviv to prepare for a new attack. .

Al-Arabiya Network also announced earlier in a report that Doha, the capital of Qatar, hosted a new round of talks about the ceasefire in Gaza on Monday, which was held with the presence of representatives of the Zionist regime and representatives of Hamas and mediators from Qatar, Egypt and the United States.

Earlier, the war cabinet of the Israeli regime sent a negotiating team headed by “David Barnia”, the head of the intelligence agency of this regime known as “Mossad” to Paris to negotiate the prisoner exchange deal.

Tel Aviv has estimated the number of Zionist prisoners in Gaza to be around 134, including military personnel of this regime; While at least eight thousand Palestinians are imprisoned in the prisons of the Israeli regime.
