According to Palestinian media reports, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced that two more infants died of malnutrition in Kamal Adwan Hospital in the north of the Gaza Strip.
While the Palestinian Red Crescent issued a statement today, more than 10,000 children in the Gaza Strip are suffering from the effects and consequences of hunger.
Palestinian Red Crescent has also warned about the continuation of war conditions against Gaza and the all-round siege of this strip and has emphasized that these events lead to the worsening of the critical situation of the children of Gaza.
Meanwhile, the United Nations Children’s Agency issued a statement yesterday warning about the extreme situation in Gaza, especially regarding the severe lack of food for Palestinian children.
UNICEF emphasized in a statement that after more than 4 months of the war in Gaza, one million Palestinian children in Gaza lack food security and are facing a health crisis.
The organization emphasized that more than 95 percent of Palestinian families in Gaza reduced the meals of adults so that children could get more food.
UNICEF stated that it is necessary for humanitarian aid to reach the affected Palestinians anywhere in the Gaza Strip in a safe and unconditional manner.
