The German newspaper Frankfurter Allgemeine wrote that some “US combat drones are being used in the region that are not related to operations in the Red Sea.”

The German Ministry of Defense announced: The firing of the Hessen frigate occurred after none of the country’s allies reported the presence of a drone in the area.

Spiegel wrote: Military officials believe that this incident showed that the cooperation between the allies in various missions in the areas around Yemen “must be improved.”
