He reminded: A memorandum of understanding has been signed between the Russian company Gazprom and the Iranian Ministry of Oil in this regard.
The Deputy Prime Minister of Russia stated: Russian companies are still interested in participating in Iran’s oil and gas projects, this issue is being investigated.
He noted: The parties also continue to negotiate on the possibility of creating a joint electronic platform for gas trading.
Novak stated: This matter was also discussed at the meeting of the intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperation between Russia and Iran on Wednesday.
He reminded: This electronic platform has been active in St. Petersburg for a long time, and Iranian experts have already learned how it works by being in this city.
The Deputy Prime Minister of Russia said: Our colleagues are considering the creation of a joint electronic platform for Iran and Russia gas trade, and in general, we see prospects in this direction.
The 17th meeting of Iran-Russia Joint Economic Commission was held in Tehran on Wednesday, March 9, 1402 under the chairmanship of Iran’s Oil Minister Javad Oji and Russia’s Deputy Prime Minister Novak.
The oil minister previously announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding of 15 documents including 11 areas of cooperation between Iran and Russia at the 17th meeting of the joint commission of the two countries.
Earlier, Kazem Jalali, Iran’s ambassador to Moscow, in a conversation with IRNA, stated that Iran and Russia are cooperating in various fields, including oil and gas, and said: “In the field of gas, joint cooperation is also planned, which I think , can also reach the result; At the current stage, negotiations in this connection are underway with some large Russian companies, some of them in the field of investment, some in the field of technology exchange, and some of them include other areas of the gas industry; In addition, the two countries can also cooperate in the issue of Russian gas export.
In his visit to Moscow on October 19, 1402, the Minister of Oil pointed out the positive view of the heads of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Russian Federation regarding the creation of a gas hub in the south of Iran, and emphasized the efforts of Tehran and Moscow in this regard.
