Miqati: An agreement for a ceasefire in Gaza will probably be reached at the beginning of next week

Najib Mikati, the prime minister of Lebanon's progress, said on Thursday night that an agreement to establish a ceasefire in Gaza is likely to be reached next week.

Najib Mikati said: There are serious talks about stopping military operations in Gaza at the beginning of next week in the framework of an understanding called the Ramadan understanding.

According to the Reuters news agency, the Prime Minister of Lebanon emphasized that the cessation of conflicts in Gaza will lead to the start of negotiations for peace in Lebanon.

He expressed hope that if Israel (regime) ends its attacks in Gaza, the Lebanese Hezbollah movement will also end its attacks.

Lebanon resistance fighters have been engaged in a confrontation with the Zionist enemy since October 8th (16 Mehr) and only one day after the start of the “Al-Aqsa Storm” operation in Gaza. Since this date, Lebanon’s Hezbollah has repeatedly occupied positions along more than 100 kilometers. It has targeted the invaders.

In this regard, the Zionist media have repeatedly admitted that Hezbollah still has the upper hand in the north of the occupied Palestinian territories and that the Israeli army is trapped in this area.
