Hamas: No negotiations will be held in the shadow of the threat of famine

The leader of Hamas has confirmed that no negotiations will take place under the threat of famine.

Senior sources of the Palestinian resistance informed Al-Mayadeen that helping the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip is one of the non-negotiables of the Palestinian resistance in the first phase.

According to the sources, these non-negotiable items of the first stage include the immediate reconstruction of hospitals, bakeries and public facilities, as well as the withdrawal of occupying forces from the Strip and the return of refugees to Gaza and the northern regions without restrictions and conditions.

Palestinian resistance regarding the second phase, emphasized that without negotiations on Palestinian prisoners and a permanent ceasefire, consensus will not be reached.

These sources emphasized that Hamas communicated these non-negotiables to them in a very transparent manner, as they also represent other factions of the Palestinian resistance. They also confirmed that the Hamas leadership has emphasized that this message is directed at all those who want to reach any agreement.

According to these sources, the leadership of Hamas has confirmed that no negotiations will be held under the threat of famine.

They added that there is no need to stay in the negotiations without meeting the needs of the people, specifically by providing food for the Palestinians in Gaza and especially its northern part, because this issue is still a priority for Hamas and the resistance.

Sources told al-Mayadeen that the Israeli side only paid attention to the case and did not offer any flexibility on the three main issues.
