The United States, South Korea and Thailand continued joint military exercises in Thailand’s coastal region on Friday to strengthen “amphibious landing capabilities and humanitarian operations,” Yonhap reported.
Three South Korean ships, six armored vehicles, F-16 fighter jets and C-130 transport aircraft participated in this exercise, which was named Cobra Gold. This exercise started on February 26 and will continue until March 8, and Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and Japan will also participate in it.
In addition, China and India will join the humanitarian support training part of this exercise.
Previously, South Korea and the United States held joint air exercises and flew F-35A fighters during this exercise.
