According to the regional office of Tasnim News Agency, “Amir Khan Motaghi, the foreign minister of the Taliban government, and Gharbangali Bardimohamedov, the national leader of Turkmenistan, exchanged views in Ashgabat on the expansion of economic cooperation, security and stability, as well as the creation of investment fields.
Gurbanguly Bardimohamedov, the former president of the Republic of Turkmenistan, became the national leader and head of the highest power body in this republic last year by the decision of the upper and lower parliaments.
According to some experts, Turkmenistan is an important economic partner of Afghanistan in the region, and the expansion of economic relations with this country is also influential in the economic growth and development of Afghanistan. TOLOnews said that in these meetings, views were exchanged on issues of security, stability and creation of new areas for investment and transit in Afghanistan, and the expansion of economic and commercial cooperation was emphasized.
Sakhi Ahmad Peyman, the first deputy of the Afghanistan Chamber of Industries and Mines, also stated: “The trip of the Afghan delegation to Turkmenistan is important from a political-economic and regional point of view.
