At that time, the coalition government of Rabat, led by the Islamist Justice and Development Party, was in charge of the affairs of the Maghreb, and the signing of this agreement dealt a heavy blow to this party, in such a way that a number of politicians separated from the Justice and Development Party, and this party participated in the parliamentary elections. He added: This issue caused Osmani to take an important decision in the name of the government. Referring to the difficult circumstances that led to this decision, Rabah stated: This decision was made within the framework of the government’s choices and away from party affiliations.
According to Al-Rai Al-Yum newspaper, he said in the description of the mentioned situation: This situation is like a situation where a person’s hand is under someone else’s sword so that he is forced to make a decision that he does not want to know. It is not.
Regarding relations with the Zionist regime, Rabah said: these relations depend on the sovereign decisions made by the king.
This Maghrebi politician, referring to the complications of foreign policy, supported stopping the normalization process with the Zionist regime.
