The British ship completely sank in the Red Sea

The Yemenis announced that the British ship, which was targeted in the Red Sea a while ago, sank today.

Yemen announced on Saturday the sinking of the British cargo ship Rubymar, which was targeted and abandoned in the southern Red Sea on February 18.

According to Al-Quds al-Arabi report, in a statement published by the Yemenis, it is stated: We announce the sinking of the MV Rubimar yesterday evening, Friday, due to weather factors and strong winds at sea.

On the other hand, one of the members of the Supreme Council of Yemen announced on Saturday that the entry of humanitarian aid into Gaza is a condition for the departure of the British ship Rubymar.

Mohammed Ali al-Houthi said on Platform X: We reaffirm that this proposal is to tow (take back) the ship (Robimar) in exchange for bringing relief trucks to Gaza.

He added without further details that Yemen considers England responsible for all consequences regarding the fate of the ship. Nevertheless, England did not comment on the statements of this senior official in the Ansarullah group.

On February 18, Yemeni forces announced that they targeted the British ship Rubymar in the Red Sea with several naval missiles, which caused serious damage and threatened to sink it.

This ship was carrying thousands of tons of fertilizer and fuel and was about 16 miles away from the mainland of Yemen.

Al-Hassan Taher, the governor of Hodeida in western Yemen, warned in a statement last Wednesday about the sinking of this ship near the western coast of Yemen.
