Palestinian sources: Hamas is reviewing the proposed new ceasefire agreement

Sources close to Hamas reported that the delegation of Hamas to Cairo will present its final answer for the ceasefire in Gaza to the mediators in the next few hours.

According to Webangah News quoted by Mehr News, following Israel’s new offer to Hamas for a ceasefire and negotiations on the release of prisoners, a source close to Hamas reported that a Hamas political delegation will travel to Cairo on Saturday evening. to resume temporary ceasefire negotiations.

The British Sky News network reported, quoting this official close to Hamas, that Hamas will soon submit its final answer to the proposed agreement with the Zionist regime to the mediators.

According to this report, a delegation from the Hamas movement will hold a meeting with mediators in Egypt in the coming hours.

It is expected that in the special meeting of the delegation of Hamas with the Egyptian authorities in Cairo, the officials of the Hamas movement will review the new proposal of Paris negotiations for a ceasefire with Tel Aviv and announce their final.

From Sweden, some news sources claimed that the dispute between Israel and Hamas is over the duration of the ceasefire and the number of prisoners, because Hamas wants to increase the number of days of the ceasefire. And an increasing number of Palestinian prisoners have been released, while Tel Aviv has objected to the names of Palestinian prisoners that Hamas wants to be released.

Earlier, a senior official of US President Joe Biden’s administration claimed in a conversation with reporters on Saturday (local time) that the Israeli regime has violated the terms of the new ceasefire agreement. He accepted a week in Gaza and is waiting for Hamas’ response.
