On Sunday morning, the members of the UN Security Council expressed concern about the recent crime of the Zionist regime in the attack on the food distribution site in the Gaza Strip.
According to the website of “Al Jazeera”, the Security Council, in a statement, only requested the Zionist regime to keep open and increase the crossings for the entry of humanitarian aid into Gaza.
The statement reads: “We emphasize the need to take all necessary measures to protect civilians and civilian infrastructure [in Gaza]. We reiterate the need for the parties to the conflict [in Gaza] to adhere to international laws, including international humanitarian law.”
The statement also adds: “We call on all parties to refrain from denying basic services and aid to civilians in the Gaza Strip.”
It was on Thursday that the Zionist regime’s tanks attacked people who were waiting to receive humanitarian aid in “Al-Nablesi” Square on Al-Rashid Street in Gaza, so far 109 martyrs and 760 were injured.
This was the second time in a week that people waiting to receive aid were targeted. On Sunday, 22 people were martyred in the same way in the same place, and that too in a situation where hunger and famine are rampant in Gaza. .
