According to the Palestinian media, “Ashraf al-Qadara” said: 15 children died due to malnutrition and hunger in “Kamal Adwan” hospital in Gaza.
He added: We are worried about the lives of 6 malnourished children who are hospitalized in the special care department of the hospital. The stopping of the generator and the oxygen generator and the lack of medical and health facilities at Kamal Adawan Hospital have doubled the problems.
Catherine Russell, the executive director of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), said on Sunday that many children in Gaza are acutely malnourished and stressed: “Palestinian children in Gaza are on the verge of death.” Russell wrote on his user account on X social media (former Twitter): Out of every 6 children under the age of 2 in Gaza, one child is acutely malnourished.
He stated that even a minute’s delay in the access of Palestinian children in Gaza to food, water, medical care and protection against the bullets and bombs of the Zionist regime will have terrible consequences, he emphasized: nothing One of these cases will not be possible without establishing a humanitarian ceasefire in Gaza.
The Ministry of Health of Gaza announced in its latest statistics that 90 Palestinian citizens were martyred in the last 24 hours, and the number of martyrs in Gaza since the beginning of the Zionist crimes on October 7 (October 15) has reached 30,410.
Nearly 5 months have passed since the start of the Zionist regime’s attacks on the Gaza Strip, while the efforts of mediators to resolve this crisis continue, the occupying forces continue their crimes and are creating another tragedy and disaster. In addition to its continuous aggression, the Zionist regime has made the situation even more disastrous by besieging and preventing the delivery of humanitarian aid and food.
