Mohammed Shia al-Sudani, the Prime Minister of Iraq, said on Sunday during a speech at Al-Rafidin Assembly: “Iran is a neighboring country; We have religious and social commonalities, and he stood by us in the war against ISIS terrorists.”
He said about the timetable for the end of the American coalition mission in Iraq: “All the conditions that required the presence of the international coalition in Iraq do not exist now.”
Al-Sudani stressed that Baghdad continues its work to end the mission of the international coalition forces in Iraq.
The Iraqi Prime Minister further stated: “The government’s efforts to end the presence of the coalition forces will continue, but this does not mean cutting ties with the coalition member countries.”
