Al-Sudani: Our efforts to end the presence of coalition forces in Iraq continue

The Prime Minister of Iraq announced that the government's efforts to end the presence of the coalition forces will continue.

Mohammed Shia al-Sudani, the Prime Minister of Iraq, said on Sunday during a speech at Al-Rafidin Assembly: “Iran is a neighboring country; We have religious and social commonalities, and he stood by us in the war against ISIS terrorists.”

He said about the timetable for the end of the American coalition mission in Iraq: “All the conditions that required the presence of the international coalition in Iraq do not exist now.”

Al-Sudani stressed that Baghdad continues its work to end the mission of the international coalition forces in Iraq.

The Iraqi Prime Minister further stated: “The government’s efforts to end the presence of the coalition forces will continue, but this does not mean cutting ties with the coalition member countries.”

The Prime Minister of Iraq also said: “The international community has been unable to stop the killing of the people of Gaza. We demand the cessation of attacks on Gaza and the non-expansion of the conflict.” /> International West Asia
