Sudan rejected the American newspaper’s claim regarding Tehran’s request from Khartoum

The foreign minister of Sudan rejected the American newspaper's claim regarding Tehran's request to Khartoum to build a base in this country.

Ali Sadegh Ali, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Sudan, denied the Wall Street Journal’s accusation regarding Tehran’s request to Khartoum to build a naval base.

Sadiq Ali told the Russian Sputnik news agency on the sidelines of the meeting of the Diplomacy Association in Antalya, Turkey: I read the Wall Street Journal article and this news is not true.

He emphasized once again: This article is not correct, Iran has never requested the construction of the base, I recently went to Iran and this issue has never been discussed with any country.

The American newspaper Wall Street Journal claimed on Sunday: Sudan is going to receive drones from Iran in exchange for agreeing to build a military base in Sudan.
