NATO exercises in Poland with the aim of deterrence against Russia

There are growing warnings that within a few years Russia could be ready to test NATO’s commitment to the alliance. Poland is one of Ukraine’s most committed supporters and has also taken in almost a million war refugees from its eastern neighbor. The country also serves as a logistics center for Western military aid. As a member of the European Union and NATO, Poland is one of the countries that feels threatened by Russia due to its status.

Many Poles are worried that one day face the same fate as the people of Ukraine, who have been facing a war of aggression from Russia for more than two years now.

Poland has also recently invested heavily in modern weapon systems. and spends about four percent of its GDP on defense. The Prime Minister of this country, Donald Tusk, has recently warned that the threats of Russian President Vladimir Putin against the West should be taken very seriously.
