Without referring to Putin's flight with a supersonic strategic bomber, the Russian defense minister expressed surprise that the West did not understand Putin's signals. |
Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said on Sunday that he is surprised that the West does not understand the meaning of the recent signals of the President of this country, Vladimir Putin, because in his opinion, these signals are not just hints and are clear to everyone.
According to Al-Arabiya, Shoigu explained in a television interview: “It will be surprising if the West does not understand President Putin’s recent signals, because they are not just hints, but messages that have been waiting for a long time, and I believe that they should listen to President Putin’s words and understand what he said.
A few days ago, in a hidden message to the West and a reminder of Moscow’s nuclear capabilities, the Russian president flew the updated Tu-160M supersonic strategic bomber. Putin spent 30 minutes in the air in this advanced fighter. Such supersonic aircraft can carry nuclear weapons and are part of Russia’s so-called nuclear triad.
Russian President Vladimir Putin recently confirmed in a letter addressed to the Russian Federal Parliament that the country adheres to its interests and continues military operations in Ukraine until the full objectives are achieved, and warned the West and NATO against any military intervention. The Russian president previously said that the West has begun to understand the impossibility of Russia’s strategic defeat and wants the West to think about the next steps, emphasizing that Moscow is ready for dialogue.
In an interview with American journalist Tucker Carlson, he emphasized Russia’s desire to reach an agreement with Kiev through negotiations and expressed confidence that the two countries will be able to do this sooner or later.
