He has published a video and pictures on the X channel that shows a Chinese ship hitting the chest of the Philippine Amad ship.
Tarilla wrote on Twitter: Philippine Coast Guard ships encountered dangerous maneuvers and harassment by Coast Guard ships and militias affiliated with the Chinese Navy. Their reckless and illegal actions led to a collision between the ship MRRV-4407 and the Chinese Coast Guard 21555 and caused minor damage to the Philippine ship.
Tensions in the South China Sea have escalated in the last one year, so that Manila has accused Beijing of dangerous actions and maneuvers around its own boats and expressed its protest many times through diplomatic channels.
