According to the regional office Tasnim news agency, Ministry of Transportation And Afghanistan Aviation announced in a statement that the joint technical meeting of road transport representatives of this ministry with the Iranian side was held in Kabul. According to the published statement, in this meeting Representatives from the Prime Minister’s Economic Deputy, the ministries of finance, foreign affairs, and industry and trade of the Taliban government were present and discussed the issues of “international road transport”.
The ministry added: In this meeting, the provision of traffic permits, cost reduction and other issues of international road transport were discussed and the necessary decisions were made.
Previously, on the 5th of March, a delegation led by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Taliban government went to Iran.
According to the Bakhtar state news agency , this delegation discussed with the Iranian authorities about the creation of facilities in Chabahar port and increasing transit and exports.
