North Korea has condemned the annual joint military exercise between South Korea and the United States and warned that they will pay a heavy price for this large-scale war exercise.

One of the spokespersons of North Korea’s Ministry of Defense announced in a statement condemning the annual exercise between South Korea and the United States called “Freedom Shield” that started on Monday and lasted for 11 days. : Washington and Seoul pay a heavy price for this exercise.

This year’s military exercises come as North Korea has stepped up its weapons tests in recent months, launching cruise missiles from land and sea and firing artillery near the tense maritime border to the west. On Monday, South Korean and American surveillance aircraft made a series of flights to monitor the situation in North Korea.
