Beginning of negotiations to end the US coalition mission in Iraq

The British ambassador in Iraq announced the beginning of negotiations regarding the end of the American international coalition mission in this country.

report Mehr News Agency, according to Al-Maloumeh, the British ambassador in Baghdad, “Stephen Hatchen” made a statement about the political situation in Iraq.

He said: Democracy in Iraq was created in bloody conditions and in the shadow of lack of trust between different classes. I am optimistic about the situation in this country.

The British ambassador emphasized: We are witnessing a positive approach in the midst of political tensions in Iraq. The set of problems that Iraq is currently facing is better than the situation in 2003, 2009 or 2016.

He stated: We have entered into negotiations regarding ending the mission of the international coalition in Iraq. We do not want to pass the Iraqi government’s request in this regard and we want to establish new relations between England and Iraq.

In the past weeks, the Iraqi authorities have repeatedly emphasized the necessity of ending the presence of foreign forces in this country.

Mohammed Shia al-Sudani, the Prime Minister of Iraq, also emphasized this issue and focused on the government’s efforts to move towards closing this case.
