Iraq no longer needs the US international coalition

According to Webangah News quoted by Mehr News Agency quoted by Al-Maluma, “Mohsen al-Mandlawi”, the deputy speaker of the Iraqi parliament, emphasized during the meeting with the Romanian ambassador in Baghdad that this country does not need the presence of the American international coalition forces.
During this meeting, the two sides discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations, especially in economic and political fields.
Al-Mandlawi stated: Iraq has great military power and there is no need for international coalition forces in this country. We currently need bilateral relations based on respect for mutual rights.
In the past weeks, the Iraqi authorities have repeatedly emphasized the necessity of ending the presence of foreign forces in this country.
Mohammed Shia al-Sudani, the Prime Minister of Iraq, also emphasized this issue and focused on the government’s efforts to move towards closing this case.
