American supporters of Palestine accused Harris of deception

While the US government is the first supporter of the Zionist regime in committing crimes against Gaza, as the election time approaches, Biden's deputy called for a 6-week ceasefire.

Palestine supporters in the US, who are trying to end the Zionist regime’s war against Gaza, called Kamala Harris, the vice president of the United States, a lie about the request for an immediate six-week ceasefire.

According to the Arabic Post report, Harris repeated his harsh remarks on Sunday, March 3, during which he described the conditions in the coastal strip of Gaza as inhumane, almost 4 months after the beginning of the aggression of the Israeli regime, and asked it to take more measures to send aid to Gaza should do.

The US vice president’s statements were one of the strongest statements by Biden administration officials against the Zionist regime, but human rights activists, progressive organizers and Arab Americans quickly criticized him.

Abed Ayoub, director of the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee, wrote on X (former Twitter): Vice President (Kamala) Harris’s request for a temporary ceasefire for six months is very specific. What he wants is not a ceasefire, but a temporary halt to the genocide.

Ayub also said that the ceasefire requested by the Biden administration is enough time to complete the majority of the primary elections of the Democratic Party.

On the other hand, Iman Abdulhai, an assistant professor at the University of Chicago, whose studies focus on religion and Muslims in America, said: the vice president’s statements are a direct result of pressure from American voters. We need a permanent ceasefire. We needed it for months.
