The North Korean Central News Agency, without disclosing the exact location of this base, quoted Kim as saying: Our military must intensify its war preparations in line with the requirements of the current situation.
He added: Our army should increase exercises and simulation of real war uniformly with the aim of rapidly improving combat capabilities and obtaining perfect combat readiness.
The leader of North Korea emphasized: increasing combat readiness by resorting to invincible forces is necessary to contain constant threats from enemies.
Kim’s visit to this base took place while American and South Korean forces are holding their annual military exercise called “Freedom Shield”.
