Hamas announced that the Zionists were disrupting the ceasefire negotiations

A member of the political bureau of Hamas says that the Zionist regime ignores the demands of the Palestinian people, such as the free entry of aid to Gaza, in the negotiations.

Hossam Badran, a member of Hamas’s political office, says that Netanyahu and the Zionist regime’s cabinet do not take into account not only the main demands of the Hamas movement, but also the demands of the Palestinian people.

According to Al-Jazeera, this Hamas official says that the aforementioned demands include achieving a ceasefire, allowing the people of northern Gaza to return to their homes, allowing the free and unconditional entry of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip, and the reconstruction of the area after the war.

Hossam Badran emphasized that the American government is not a neutral and fair mediator in these negotiations, but supports Netanyahu politically, militarily and financially. According to him, the statements of American officials are “without real will” and this country should put pressure on the Zionist regime.

At the end, this Hamas political official said about the priorities of the Islamic Resistance Group in the negotiations: “Palestinian prisoners in Israeli prisons are also an important issue.” We have more than 10,000 Palestinian prisoners in Israeli prisons. [But] now the main priority is to help the people of Gaza and stop the genocide.”

Hours ago, Hamas announced in a statement that its delegation had left Cairo. Egypt’s state-run Cairo news agency, quoting a high-ranking source, announced that the delegation had left Egypt to consult on the proposals and negotiations would resume next week.

Meanwhile, the CNN news agency, citing one of the diplomats, described the negotiations as “very turbulent” and said: “The negotiators had hoped that a draft agreement would be written this week after several days of meetings in Cairo, but this did not happen. It will not fall”.
