Netanyahu: Despite international opposition, we will not stop operations against Gaza

Following the announcement of the failure of negotiations in Cairo to establish a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, the Prime Minister of the Zionist regime announced that despite international opposition, the army of this regime will continue its operations against the Palestinian resistance throughout the Gaza Strip.

According to Arab media, Binyamin Netanyahu said Thursday in statements published in the Hebrew newspaper Yediot Aharnot: We are in the middle of a war with the aim of ending the rule of Hamas.

Netanyahu added: Our goal in this war is to return the prisoners and prevent any threat from the Gaza Strip in the future.

The prime minister of the Zionist regime also said that the army of this regime will continue its operations against Hamas throughout the Gaza Strip, including the city of Rafah “as its last base”.

Netanyahu considered preventing the army of this regime from entering Rafah as the end of the war in the Gaza Strip and said: Those who ask us not to enter Rafah are actually asking us to end the war, which will never happen. It will not happen.

Al Jazeera network announced on Thursday, quoting informed sources: The ceasefire talks in Cairo ended without reaching an agreement and Israel did not accept Hamas’ request for a permanent ceasefire, withdrawal from the Gaza Strip and the unconditional return of Palestinian refugees to their homes. .

Al Jazeera sources said: Mediators in Cairo tried to resolve the differences between Hamas and Israel, but their efforts were fruitless.

In this regard, an official of the Hamas movement told Reuters that the Zionist regime failed all the efforts of the mediators.

Egyptian media sources also announced that the negotiations will resume next week.

In recent days, a new round of negotiations has started in Cairo with the aim of reaching a ceasefire agreement before the holy month of Ramadan.

Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shukri said on Monday night that the negotiations between the Zionist regime and Hamas have not yet reached the stage of agreement to establish a ceasefire.

Egyptian foreign minister stated that the continuation of the current situation in Gaza could lead to the expansion of the scope of the conflict, and said: Cairo and Qatar are trying to reach a partial ceasefire that will lead to a complete ceasefire and the release of prisoners.
