America: In 48 hours, “extremists” will attack the Russian capital

The American Embassy in Moscow issued a statement claiming that attacks will occur in the Russian capital in the next 48 hours and asked American citizens to refrain from attending large gatherings.

report Mehr News, citing Tass, the American Embassy in Moscow issued a statement warning the citizens of this country in Russia to refrain from entering crowded centers and unnecessary gatherings in the next 48 hours, because “Extremists” are planning to carry out attacks in the city of Moscow.

A statement posted on the US embassy’s website said that “the embassy is monitoring reports that extremists are planning imminent plans to target large gatherings.” in Moscow, including concerts, and American citizens should be advised to avoid large gatherings in the next 48 hours.”

The statement asked Americans in Russia to remain vigilant and “check local media for updates,” without elaborating.

So far, the Russian authorities have not commented on this announcement of the American embassy.

This warning from the US embassy is issued amid ongoing tensions between Moscow and Washington. On Thursday, the Russian Foreign Ministry summoned US Ambassador Lynn Tracy and asked the embassy to cut all ties with three US-backed NGOs that were recently banned from Russia.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs also threatened to remove “all employees of the American Embassy” who are involved in the conflict in Ukraine and the upcoming Russian presidential election “in the internal affairs of the Russian Federation from including subversive campaigns and false information will be expelled.
