The martyrdom of 9,000 Palestinian women/ 60,000 pregnant women in the Gaza Strip suffer from malnutrition

The Ministry of Health of Palestine addressed the disastrous situation of women in the Gaza Strip at the same time as the 8th of March (International Women’s Day) and announced that since the beginning of the aggression of the Zionist regime in this region, 9 thousand women have been martyred.

According to the Palestine Information Center, the spokesperson of the Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip emphasized that the international community does not care about the rights of Palestinian women and has remained silent against the aggression of the Zionist enemy against them.

“Ashraf al-Qadara” emphasized that the occupying enemy killed 9,000 Palestinian women in the war against Gaza, thousands of whom were mothers, pregnant women and medical staff.

He stated that 60,000 pregnant women in the Gaza Strip suffer from malnutrition, lack of water and lack of proper medical care.

Al-Qadara also said that about 5,000 pregnant women give birth every month in very difficult and unsafe conditions in the Gaza Strip.

He demanded immediate UN action for the war against Gaza and the genocide of Palestinian women and their families.

The spokesperson of the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza called on the institutions and organizations active in the field of women to support Palestinian women and use all their power to stop the war and the crimes of the Zionist regime against them.

This news is published while the Gaza Ministry of Health announced yesterday (Thursday) and on the 153rd day of the war in a statement that the Zionist regime committed 9 new crimes in different areas of the Gaza Strip in the last 24 hours. It led to the martyrdom of 83 people and left 142 injured.

In this statement, it is stated: Including the new martyrs, the number of martyrs of the Zionist regime’s aggression has increased to 30,800 since October 7.

The Ministry of Health of Gaza also announced the latest number of people injured in these crimes at 72,298.

Representation of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the United Nations also on the eve of International Women’s Day (March 8), referring to the martyrdom of more than 9,000 Palestinian women at the hands of the Israeli regime, demanded the expulsion of this regime from the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women.

Iran’s representation in the United Nations added: “More than 9,000 Palestinian women were killed by the Zionist regime amid the inaction of the United Nations Security Council. The occupying of the UN seats by the occupying Zionist regime must be prevented.”
