He met with a number of activists Afghanistan’s economic minister emphasized in Kabul that the trade problems between the two countries will be resolved.
India’s special representative for Afghanistan also said that his country wants to expand trade relations with Afghanistan through the port of Chabahar. .
Afghan economic activists also stated in this meeting that the expansion of trade relations between Afghanistan and India is in the interest of both countries.
These economic activists asked the special representative of India to provide more facilities for trade and issuing visas.
Vikram Misri, India’s Deputy National Security Adviser, met and discussed with the representatives of Iran, Russia, Kyrgyzstan and Turkmenistan about increasing trade and Chabahar port at the Bishkek meeting held for Afghanistan in late February.
India is one of the largest economies in the world with a large population and is trying to overtake China to gain access to new markets including Central Asia. Therefore, the port of Chabahar and Afghanistan is the closest way to achieve this goal.
