report Mehr News Agency quoted by Al-Maluma, “Rafiq Al-Salehi”, a member of the Culture and Media Commission of the Iraqi Parliament, emphasized that there is a danger of glorifying the disbanded Baath party in Iraq on the security and political situation of this country.
He added: We are witnessing some actions regarding propaganda for this party and praising it in Iraq.
Al-Salehi said: Some people in Iraq still believe in the thoughts of this dictator party and have entered government institutions with these thoughts.
He emphasized: Laws must be passed to fight against these thoughts and prosecute those who promote the ideas of the Baath Party and Saddam.
A few days ago, Hashd al-Shaabi forces, in cooperation with Iraqi intelligence forces, managed to carry out a special operation in Anbar province against elements of the disbanded Baath party.
In this operation, a network consisting of eight leaders and elements of the disbanded Baath party was identified and destroyed.
The aforementioned operations were carried out with the support of Hashd al-Shaabi forces and the command of Anbar and Al-Badiya operations in the Iraqi army.
