Tunisian women, on the occasion of International Women’s Day, held a demonstration in the capital in support of Palestinian women living in the Gaza Strip and demanded an end to the attacks of the Zionist army on this strip.
This demonstration with the slogan “There is no women’s struggle without the cause of Palestine” was held yesterday evening (Friday) at the invitation of Tunisian civil society activists and the participants shouted “The war in Gaza must stop”. The blockade of Gaza must be broken”, “Reopening the crossings is a duty”, “The people want to criminalize the normalization with Tel Aviv”
according to the newspaper Al-Quds al-Arabi, this demonstration was held on Habib Bourguiba Street (the most important street in the capital of Tunisia) and the demonstrators demanded the freedom of the Palestinians and the end of the Zionist army’s aggression to Gaza.
