The US State Department announced in a statement that US Foreign Minister Anthony Blinken met with Faisal bin Farhan. Saudi Foreign Minister talked to each other on the phone.
The statement of the US State Department said: Blinken and the Saudi Foreign Minister discussed efforts to achieve a ceasefire in Gaza talks for at least six weeks. This is as part of an agreement in which prisoners held by Hamas will be released and humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip will increase.
