Moscow’s successful anti-terrorist operation against ISIS/ 2 suspects were killed

Kazakhstan confirmed that two Kazakh citizens were killed in the anti-terrorist operation of the Russian security service in Moscow against one of the branches of ISIS.

report Mehr News Agency quoted by France 24, based on the approval of the National Security Committee of Kazakhstan, following the operation of the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) in a monastery in Moscow against one of the branches of the ISIS terrorist group, two Citizens of Kazakhstan were killed.

Earlier, Russian media claimed that two suspects of Kazakh origin who entered Russia in February were killed in this operation.

Kazakhstan’s National Security Committee wrote in a statement: Kazakh citizenship and entry of these two people into Russia is confirmed. The relevant authorities have started their investigation on this issue in close cooperation with the Federal Security Service of Russia.

Russia’s security service claimed last Thursday that it has put an end to the activities of ISIS Khorasan, which operates mainly in Afghanistan. On the same day, the American Embassy in Moscow warned American citizens to refrain from attending large gatherings in the Russian capital for 48 hours.

Moscow authorities announced on Sunday last week that 6 suspects linked to ISIS were killed in the Autonomous Republic of Ignosh and Dagestan, Russia.
