According to Al Jazeera, UNICEF West Asia and North Africa Director Adil Khizr said that by providing proper food, the death of children due to famine in Gaza can be prevented.
The UNICEF regional director also called on all parties to open the crossings and increase the number of trucks entering the Gaza Strip.
Earlier, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA) while expressing concern about the consequences of preventing the arrival of land aid to Gaza, warned that hunger has cast a shadow over this geographical strip.
According to the recent report of the Gaza Ministry of Health, 25 people have been martyred so far due to malnutrition and lack of water in Bar Ghara.
