The beginning of Ramadan without food and water in northern Gaza

The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that starting today, 2,000 medical staff will start the month of Ramadan without fasting.

According to the Anatolian report, Ashraf al-Qadara, the spokesman of the Gaza Ministry of Health, said in a statement: “Medical teams are working day and night in northern Gaza and cannot find anything to eat.” Medical teams in northern Gaza lost their bodies due to lack of food.

He continued that more than 2,000 health personnel in northern Gaza will start the holy month of Ramadan without breakfast and iftar, and asked international and relief organizations to provide ready meals so that the medical teams can do their work.

The month of Ramadan begins this year while the Israeli war in the Gaza Strip continues since October 7 amid the efforts of Arab and international countries to establish a ceasefire as soon as possible. As a result of the war and the restrictions of the Zionist regime, the residents of Gaza, especially its northern areas, are on the brink of famine due to the severe lack of food, water, medicine and fuel, and about two million Palestinians from the strip that has been under siege by this regime for 17 years. , have been displaced.
