Due to the continuation of the Zionist regime’s war against Gaza and the targeting and destruction of mosques, a limited number of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip performed the first Taraweeh prayer of the holy month of Ramadan.
Anatolia reporter reported that most areas of the Gaza Strip did not witness Taraweeh prayers held in mosques, but there were a few limited places where prayers were offered, unlike the previous situation when mosques and public squares were full of worshippers.
He explained that in the city of Jabalia in the north of the Gaza Strip, there are streets and public places where prayers are offered to a limited extent, despite the fear of attacks by the Zionist regime. In the city of Rafah, a small number of residents were observed near the ruins of houses, roads and mosques, praying Taraweeh. At the end of the prayer, the worshipers asked God to end the war in the Gaza Strip, heal the wounded, protect the innocent and bring peace and stability to Gaza.
Saudi Arabia, Egypt and 10 Arab countries including Palestine announced on Sunday evening that Monday is the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan. The month of Ramadan is this year while the war of the Zionist regime in the Gaza Strip continues since October 7.
