Vehicles with Russian license plates were banned in Lithuania

According to the Vilnius Customs, the use of cars with Russian license plates was banned throughout Lithuania.

reported by Mehr News Agency, citing Tass, the Lithuanian Customs Organization announced that the ban on cars with Russian license plates has been implemented in this country since last night.

According to this organization, the vehicles of diplomats traveling in the Kaliningrad region, which belongs to Russia in the Baltic Sea, are exempt from this law, but they are allowed to stay in this region for a maximum of 24 hours.

Other cars with Russian license plates should leave Lithuania as soon as possible or re-register the car in this country and change the license plate.

According to the official announcement, until now about 50 cars with Russian license plates have remained in Lithuania, and if these cars do not leave this country, confiscation and the owners between 200 and 6 They will be fined one thousand euros.
