China: A joint naval exercise with Iran and Russia will be held in the Oman Sea

According to TeleTrader, the Ministry of Defense of China issued a statement today (Monday) announcing the holding of a joint naval exercise with Iran and Russia.
In the statement published by this ministry, it is stated: The Chinese Navy, along with the Iranian and Russian navies, will hold a joint exercise from today, March 11th to the 15th of this month.
This statement adds: This exercise, which is called Security Bond-2024, will take place near the Sea of Oman with the aim of maritime coordination and showing the combat power of the participating countries.
China has announced the dispatch of a destroyer equipped with Urumqi guided missiles, a liner ship, and warships equipped with the most up-to-date weapons and military equipment to this exercise.
Beijing considered the purpose of holding this exercise to maintain maritime security in the international waters of the Sea of Oman and maritime coordination between friendly countries.
