Hamas denied the published reports about the ceasefire proposal

According to the international group Tasnim News Agency, the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) announced this Wednesday morning He said that the published reports regarding the receipt of a proposal for a prolonged ceasefire and the return of displaced persons and the trip of this movement’s delegation to Cairo to examine this proposal are not true. Last night Al-Arabi Al-Jadeed newspaper quoted Egyptian sources as claiming that Hamas has received a new proposal from the United States regarding a cease-fire in Gaza.

After publishing this news, the Saudi Al-Arabiya network, citing a high-ranking source in Hamas, claimed that the movement agreed to this American plan.

This Saudi channel quoted this source and reported: We in Hamas agreed with the modified American initiative regarding a ceasefire and the gradual return of refugees.
