reported by Mehr News Agency quoted by Rashatodi, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov announced that the exact date of the visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin to Turkey is not yet known.
He said about this: Putin’s visit to Turkey has been being prepared for a long time, there are many issues that need the attention of the heads of the two countries.
Pskov further said: There is no specific date for Putin’s visit to Turkey; This issue will be quickly agreed through diplomatic channels.
Earlier, Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced that he hoped that Russian President Vladimir Putin would visit Ankara after the Turkish municipal elections on March 31.
He, who was speaking at the Iftar banquet of Turkish foreign ambassadors on Tuesday evening, said: We continue to talk with both of our neighbors in the Black Sea. Last Friday (March 8), we met and talked with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky in Istanbul, and after the elections [in Turkey], we will be the level of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Erdogan also said that peace plans to resolve the conflict in Ukraine that do not take into account Russia’s position will not work.
The President of Turkey said: We have made significant efforts to find ways for peace in the conflict between Russia and Ukraine. While we support the principle of sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, we also say that any peace plan that does not include Russia will be ineffective.
