Lebanon: Israel should stop trying to drag the region into war

Since the beginning of the Gaza war on October 7th, the biggest global concern has been the spread of this war to other regions. Now the Zionist regime is bombing Gaza, West Bank, South Lebanon, and Syria. Also, the resistance forces in Iraq and Yemen are targeting the positions and interests of the Zionists.

According to Al Jazeera, Lebanon asked the Zionist regime to refrain from dragging the entire region into war.

Lebanon’s Foreign Ministry issued a statement today (Wednesday) and announced that Beirut will complain to the UN Security Council in an official case against Israel for the attack on Lebanon, which has increased in depth in recent days.

This statement adds: Israel’s attacks are increasing and expanding so that these attacks have killed and injured many innocent citizens in residential areas.

Lebanon’s Foreign Ministry emphasizes: What is clearly a cause for concern is the spread of the war to areas beyond the southern borders of Lebanon. This shows that Israel tends to escalate conflicts and drag the region into war.

This statement concludes: We ask the international community to put pressure on Israel to end these attacks, and we once again demand that all members of the UN Security Council condemn Israel’s attacks on Lebanon.
