London is waging a “gray war” with Moscow, in which the British community does not understand its participation. This is what Richard Dearlove, the former head of the British spy agency MI-6 told Politico.
He said: “If you stop someone in the street here in the UK and ask them if they think we’re at war, they’ll look at you like you’re crazy. But we’re at war, we’re at war with Russia, and I’m trying to remind people that.
He called London’s defense spending insufficient to fend off “possible threats from Moscow and Beijing”.
The former MI6 chief also criticized the British leadership for the “gap between statements and actions”.
Previously, the British Foreign Ministry announced that London is ready to help Berlin in the possible delivery of Taros long-range missiles to the Kiev regime.
Also, the English newspaper The Times wrote: England and European countries want to continue the conflict in Ukraine until at least 2025 in order to develop their defense industry and continue to provide assistance to the authorities of Kiev regardless of Washington’s position. So far, Britain has been unable to offer anything tangible to Ukraine, as the kingdom’s arms stockpile has run out. In this regard, London approached Berlin with a request for military assistance to the Kiev regime. In addition, the London authorities are negotiating with other countries about sending weapons to Ukraine.
