The reaction of Palestinian groups to the formation of the technocrat cabinet

The Hamas movement, Islamic Jihad, the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine and the Palestinian National Plan Movement issued a statement this Friday about the mission of “Mohammed Mustafa” to form a new cabinet.

Previously, he assigned the head of the Palestinian Authority, Mohammad Mustafa, to form the cabinet of technocrats.

Quoted by al-Mayadeen news site, the Palestinian groups announced in this statement that now the most important priority is to deal with the aggression and policy of genocide and starvation that the Zionist regime has taken against the people of Gaza.

The Zionist regime has been continuing its attacks against the people of Gaza for 161 days, and as a result, in addition to widespread destruction and the spread of famine in the Gaza Strip, more than 31,000 Palestinians have been martyred and more than 73,000 Palestinians have been injured.

This statement states that taking individual decisions and engaging in official steps such as the formation of a new government without national consensus strengthens the policy of exclusivity and deepens division.

These groups, in the continuation of the aforementioned statement, expressed their opposition to the Palestinian Authority’s insistence on continuing the exclusive policy, and such actions show the depth of the crisis within the leadership of the Palestinian Authority, its separation from reality, and the great gap between it and the Palestinian people and their ideals. Palestinian groups in this statement asked all national groups, especially the Fatah movement, to take effective action to agree on the management of this critical stage.
